Account & data deletion
Delete your Kokto data.
Last updated August 25, 2026
You can use Kokto without an account. Signed-in users can delete their account and cloud data in the app or request help by email.
Delete an account inside Kokto
- Open Kokto and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Tap Me in the bottom navigation.
- Open Settings.
- Choose Delete account and cloud data and confirm.
The deletion process covers the Kokto authentication account, profile, ratings, synchronized records, private recipe history and media, and account-linked AI operation records. Data that exists only on a device is not remotely erased unless you also choose the local erase option.
Request deletion without the app
Email lokaliapps@gmail.com with the subject “Kokto Account Deletion Request.” Send the request from the email address linked to your Kokto account and include only that email address. Never send your password, verification code, access token, or payment details.
We may reply to the registered email address to verify account ownership before processing the request.
Request account deletionDelete specific data without deleting your account
You can delete an individual cocktail rating from that cocktail's rating controls. For supported synchronized items, delete the item in Kokto and then choose Sync now; Kokto propagates the deletion marker to your synchronized data. Data stored only on this device can be removed from Me → Settings using the account data controls or Erase data on this device.
To request deletion of specific account-linked data without deleting your account, email lokaliapps@gmail.com from the email address linked to your Kokto account. Describe the data you want deleted, but never send your password, verification code, access token, or one-time code.
Erase data stored only on a device
In Kokto, go to Me → Settings → Erase data on this device. You can also clear Kokto's storage in Android system settings or uninstall the app. Kokto disables Android backup for its app data.
What may be retained
Limited security, fraud-prevention, legal-compliance, support, or deletion verification records may be retained when necessary. Provider security logs may remain for their configured retention periods. Retained records are not used for advertising.
